Impact Evaluation

All programs conducted by Instituto Brasil Solidario go through a process of Impact Evaluation so the indexes of the changes occurred in the areas can be analyzed after the implementation of actions.

One of the principles of this process is to also offer suggestions to local governments on how to improve some areas like education, environment, health and others, and to make the information collected available to these organizations.

During this evaluation, all doubts and later questions are observed and included in complementary brochures, with the correction of goals and all the necessary changes to ensure complete understanding and viability of the activities and programs proposed, focusing on the following items:

a. the impact on the quality of life of the participants;
b. medium- and long-term results;
c. the organization’s commitment;
d. planned continuity;
e. observation of the local population;
f. number and quantitative analyses of all programs carried out by IBS.

Awards

The institute develops its programs within modern and pioneering concepts which allow their applicability everywhere in Brazil, and can be monitored at a distance.

The process of choosing a school or city involves a research based on HDI (Human Development Index) criteria. The communities also profit from a historical-cultural approach conducted by the Trilha Brasil Project or other social activities connected to the needs of the involved partners .


Video and Documentaries

In order to publicize the results of the projects and the development of those communities, IBS provides videos, documentaries and audio-visual presentations for TV networks, involved companies and partners, so that the investment can obtain a proper return in terms of image and publicity.
